Hot Shotz Sports Center is owned by Gary and Leslie Schotz, and are well known in the San Diego business community as owners of Quest Construction, one of San Diego's top commercial contracting companies.

Our friendly, professional coaching staff includes:

Steve Danielson - Athletic Director of Hot Shotz Sports Center, played on the 1996 Olympic Field Hockey Men's Team. A SDSU graduate, Steve has played for the USA National Team for 18 years competing in the multiple Pan Am Games, Pan Am Cup, Indoor World Cup, as well as for club teams in both Australia and Scotland. He has coached field hockey players for twelve years. Currently, Steve and his wife Tara spearhead the RUSH Field Hockey program in San Diego. (Read More)

Shane Kaufman - Graduated from San Diego State University in 2008 and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants as a pitcher. He finished one successful season with the Giants and we are proud to have Shane with us at Hot Shotz until he returns to the Bay Area for spring practice.

Hot Shotz Sports Center is marking the end of its first grand slam year as a new state-of-the-art haven for North County athletes. A 45,000-square foot indoor facility located in the Expo building at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Hot Shotz Sports Center—formerly Del Mar Sports Center— was bought in October 2008 by Carmel Valley residents Leslie and Gary Schotz.
